The Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at Augsburg University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in the statistics program to begin August 15, 2018. Full consideration will be given to complete applications received by October 30, 2017.
The statistics program stresses active learning and cooperates closely with other disciplines such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, and the Sciences. Students may earn the Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a focus in Statistics or also a minor in Statistics. We have a strong commitment to appliedstatistics and mathematics. We work with local businesses and nonprofit organizations on projects. Our students regularly engage in research with our faculty and present at regional and national conferences
- A PhD in Biostatistics, AppliedStatistics, or Statistics is expected (completed by starting date).
