The Department of Psychiatry in the Long School of Medicine of UT Health at San Antonio has an exciting opportunity for a clinical psychologist to join a growing academic program in transplant psychology. The applicant would be responsible for helping create and manage transplant clinical program, collaborate in research, and supervise psychology residents. The position will function as a part of our outpatient programs at Health Science Center and the candidate will be involved in expanding the array of psychosocial interventions to client of UT Health. The role includes working closely with faculty and administrators to design and implement, and coordinate clinical and research activities. Position requires a doctoral degree in psychology. Experience with treatment of serious mental illness is required. Transplant psychologist is preferred. Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree and be licensed in the State of Texas, and demonstrate commitment to evidence-based treatment research and training. This position is a non-tenure track eligible and academic rank and recruitment package will be commensurate with experience.
