This is an Assistant Marketing Manager role with a major CPG/Personal care client,located in the Philadelphia area.. Marketed thru Food/Drug and Mass .. Support Brand Marketing Director in the management of the brand. Helps to analyze, recommend, implement and control a variety of actions to help achieve business plan objectives. Analysis (shipments, syndicated data, trends, competition) from which to forecast, recommend and implement specific actions looking to control, optimize for further improvement. Manages marketingbudget of designed brand and present new product development status, go no go at key stage gates of the New Product Development Meeting Analyze shipments, category and brand performance in IRI, POS data in order to help understand brand performance, what works / does not and help recommend strategy and tactics up to Brand Director..
Manage brand unit forecast, employing category management, promotional, and seasonal data.
Assist Marketing Directorwithproduct management of brands, execution of marketing plan and its specific advertising and promotion tactics. Evaluates effectiveness of marketing programs by analyzing sales, profitability and contribution data. Recommends changes base on analysis.
Coordinates activity in alignment with customer marketing for upcoming key sales presentation in line of customer windows. Support team to ensure timely delivery, accuracy, and overall fit with company strategic and financial goals.
Work withDirector, Marketing on various projects as needed ? inclusive of reporting activity of key new product development update at the New Products meeting
