Assistant Manager of Benefits –

Location: Bronx, NY

Administers, facilitates and tracks Family Medical Leave of Absences (FMLA), medical leaves, and NYS Paid Family Leaves. Coordinates, tracks and monitors credentialing of licenses/registrations and certifications for applicable professional staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources required plus at least 3 years progressively responsibleHRexperience, with benefits experiencepreferred. C.E.B.S., PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification and familiarity with 1199 SEIU unions a plus.

Excellent typing skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows, as well as familiarity with database systems.

Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as superior interpersonal skills, which must span all levels of the employee population.

Ability to function with minimal direction, under pressure, and to approach unique problems and situations with creativity and innovativeness.
