We are a leading property manager with a portfolio of more than 30,000 units of high-quality housing. We are now seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team in Columbus.

As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for helping with the leasing and administrative functions of our property in Columbus. 

Specifically, you?ll verify and certify resident files, as well as assisting with tax credit evaluations. You?ll prepare contracts, leasing agreements, income changes and housing assistance payment adjustments.  

Additionally, you'll build strong relationships with residents to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved.  

To be considered for this role, you must have:  


- At least three years property management experience

- Tax credit experience

- A strong operations background

- Experience of Yardi software

- Knowledge of state and federal regulations

- Strong management, leasing and marketing skills

- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

- The ability to read and interpret a variety of manuals and documents

- The ability to build and maintain a positive relationship with residents, the community and city agencies

- A high school diploma or GED 

Flexible and self-motivated, as an Assistant Manager, you must possess fantastic multi-tasking abilities with excellent problem-solving skills. You must also have a great eye for detail and be capable of making tactful, considered judgments.  


A social services background would be beneficial to your application.
