The Assistant Director functions under the general supervision of the Director of Hearing and Speech. The Assistant Director provides guidance, oversight and leadership for personnel and operations of the Speech Department at all locations and functions as Acting Director in the Director's absence. The Assistant Director is responsible for monitoring effective resource utilization and general management of the Speech Department including clinical and fiscal management. In addition, supports the CMH Service Excellence Program through demonstrated knowledge of CMH Shared Values, Mission & Vision, and Strategic Plan. The Assistant Director is an independent licensed and certified provider of speech-language pathology or audiology services for the evaluation, diagnosis, and/or treatment of pediatric communication, hearing, and swallowing disorders and diseases.
