Position Responsibilities: - Supervises and coordinates the Accounting Department.
- Assist the Controller in all functions including reporting of financial operations.
- Ensures financial statements are accurately stated in accordance with HCA accounting policies and GAAP
- Supervises Accounting Department
- Works with the Controller and Supply Chain Director to coordinate the annual physical inventory
- Coordinates, reviews and assists in completing Medicare Year End
- Coordinates, reviews and assists in completing Internal Audit work papers
- Provides financial analysis of hospital income and expenditures
- Maintains department reports and records to meet administrative and regulatory requirements
- Assists the Controller and CFO with annual budget preparation
- Bachelors Degree in Accouting is required - Masters Degree is preferred
- Five (5)+ years of accouting experience is required
- Hospital experience is preferred
- Experience with the Accounting Software FoxPro is required
