The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, with a long history of excellence and dedication to sports medicine, is currently searching for a primary care sports medicine physician (MD/DO) to join our team. Under the direction of Drs. Freddie Fu and Volker Musahl, the UPMC program has been built over decades and provides care for high school, collegiate, and professionals teams in Western Pennsylvania. This position requires a strong commitment to the care of the athlete at all levels. We are looking for an individual who is board certified in their primary specialty and holds a CAQ in sports medicine. As part of an academic faculty, dedication to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows will be required. Preference will be given to applicants with experience and a strong skill set in MSK Ultrasound.
