The Adult & Online Education Academic Coordinator for Business is responsible for the overall management and delivery of Adult & Online Education’s Business programs and courses to include curriculum management, program assessments, faculty coordination, and faculty development. The successful candidate will teach business courses and work closely with faculty in the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business to provide continuity between the main campus, extended campuses, and virtual campus. This is a full time non-tenure track faculty positon at the rank of assistant/associateprofessor, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance in rank pursuant to the University’s promotion policy.
Adult & Online Education offers via extended campus locations and online several business-related majors including General Business, Accounting, and Healthcare Management at the AA, BAS, and BBA degree levels.
Education and Qualifications:
The PhD (or terminal degree equivalent) from a regionally accredited institution in an appropriate academic discipline
Demonstrated experience (5-7 years) in academia, industry, or both
Superior interpersonal skills
Highly developed organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Strong management and/or leadership skills
Industry experience desirable
Demonstrated leadership experience to include management of people
Strong preference for candidates with experience in teaching nontraditional students
Demonstrated excellence in teaching
Experience in developing and deploying course and program assessments
Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the learning environment and teaching methodology
