The Department of Pediatrics of the Indiana University School of Medicine and Indiana University Health Physicians are seeking a psychologist to provide outpatient clinical assessments and therapy services to children and adolescents with gender dysphoria, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, disorders of sex development, and other chronic health conditions of childhood and adolescence. Patients will be seen in inter-professional teams in conjunction with providers in the Sections of Adolescent Medicine and Pediatric Endocrinology.
The primary appointment, on the clinical track, will be in the Section of Adolescent Medicine, an interdisciplinary division with clinical, educational, and research expertise, including two psychology faculty and one clinical social work faculty. Additional appointment will be in the Section of Pediatric Endocrinology, whose faculty is nationally known for its clinical programs for congenital adrenal hyperplasia and disorders of sex development. Professional mentorship and clinical supervision will be provided by senior members of each section.
Qualifications include doctoral degree and clinical internship from APA-accredited programs, possession of (or eligibility for) an Indiana psychology license and an Indiana Health Services Provider in Psychology (HSPP) endorsement. Academic rank of clinical assistant/associateprofessor, depending on qualifications and experience.
