This role will support all project related activity for the CorSo North America Finance team. We are looking for someone who will understand relevant accounting principles, including U.S. GAAP, U.S, statutory, operational and financialprocesses, and financial statement reporting. We are looking for someone who can understand the accounting systems and interaction with other administrative systems, and possesses the ability to connect business activities and related impact on actual financial results. You will be an enthusiastic accounting professional, a confident and organized decision maker and can work well both independently and as a teammate. You will have an interest in career development, possess good leadership skills and have a desire to further develop such skills.

About the Role

  • Supply to the testing and implementation of the new CorFiT IT infrastructure.
  • Assist with end to end implementation of new programs and projects.
  • Develop a complete understanding of data flow, system landscapes and system interactions impacting reporting under relevant valuations and provide insight that helps to ensure a smooth flow of information through the reporting life cycle
  • Prepare analytics to support variance explanations of business to senior management, boards, and regulators.
  • Coordinate the technical close, substantiation and analytics process
  • Consolidate the quarterly results presentations for US GAAP and EVM and present to management
  • Critically assess and examine the recurring reporting processes and deliverables and propose areas for improvement and optimisation

About the team

This position is a part of the North American Corporate Solutions Finance team. We are a broad team of diverse talents across multiple offices and part of a larger global finance team.

About You

  • College graduate with BA or BS in Accounting
  • CPA certification or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years Insurance accounting experience
  • Excellent organizational skills, disciplined and self-motivated
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Solid computer skills including proficiency in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent data administration and analytic skills
