Oversee and ensure management of customer's information systems and information system components.  Ensure all Hardware Asset Management (HWAM) information is monitored and reported using authoritative solutions and reporting methods. Provide technical leadership and coordination of a team of asset managers located across multiple locations. Use customer-centric and innovative approaches to support the review, development, and implementation of audit preparation checklists, guidelines, templates, scorecard, and materials to ensure the client meets mandated audit requirements.

 

Conduct ongoing reviews and assessments of the acquisition, storage, distribution, use, and replacement of IT assets to ensure Abacus and the customer remain audit ready and compliant with all applicable federal, policy, and regulatory guidance.  Provide continuous process improvements: define, update, maintain and manage a set of standard operating procedures, checklists, templates, and scorecards; work with ITSM team on creating and improving automation to improve the efficiency of asset management activities across the program.

Qualifications

Education:Associate’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired. 

 

Experience and Skills:

5+ years of Information Technology (IT) related experience, with at least 3+ years of experience in asset management. Experience leading the development and implementation of an asset management framework and program including developing, refining and managing processes and SOPs for asset management. Experience leading the management and oversight of the client’s organizational assets and the routine inventory of assets and attributes. Proven results of managing/maintaining accurate inventory and collaboration with other Government asset teams/entities when managing assets and performing asset inventories. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience using automated asset management systems and advanced capabilities of Excel.  Experience using an ITSM ticketing system, such as ServiceNow, preferred. ITIL v.3 Foundations certification a plus.
