Summary

This position is responsible for growing the sales of Pro-Vigil services in a specified Area.  Geographical area covering ? of continental US (East, Central and West) and provides ongoing support and management of Pro-Vigil Sales Representatives within the region.  Our business is growing rapidly, replacing the old human security guard model with our unique automated solution combining proprietary software, process, and live video monitoring in construction markets requiring mobile implementations and permanent installation in car, boat, RV, heavy equipment and others for after hour deterrence of criminal activity.  Pro-Vigil is the national leader and trendsetter in this market.  Join us helping customers replace their high cost and poor results based manned solutions with our unique live monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality leadership for Pro-Vigil’s customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding Pro-Vigil’s values at all times: inclusive of constructive problem solving, facilitating creative improvements, and inspiring others.

  • Achieves the Region’s revenue and profitability quotas for Pro-Vigil services as they are sold into all customer segments within Area.

  • Establishes an environment and foundation for future sales growth.

  • Sells and teaches others how to sell value and solutions to Pro-Vigil’s customers.

  • Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers.

  • Keep informed of competitive offerings in the Area, formulates plans for effective positioning against all threats

  • Directs the selling activities within the Area, inclusive of resource deployment and customer interactions. Prioritizes effectively and in accordance with corporate objectives.

  • Manages the Sales Representatives performance through coaching, mentoring, and career development.

  • Responsible for the Region’s forecasting and sales tracking.

  • Sets the vision for the Region and develops and adheres to a business plan to attain this vision.

  • Identify, evaluate market trends that affect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability. Formulate and execute plans to leverage opportunities and counter threats.

  • Report to and work with Vice President of Sales on sales initiatives and goals.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Excellent business acumen

  • Supervisory or management experience, of a sales staff

  • Working knowledge of construction companies and dealerships within an assigned sales territory

  • Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position

  • Strong closing skills

  • Excellent oral, written, telephone and presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to rapidly learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customers

  • Computer literate with knowledge of all Google Applications and Salesforce software

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business management preferred, MBA a plus

  • At least three years’ experience in a sales management role

  • Surveillance or security B2B salespreferred

  • Must be willing to travel80% of the time

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
