Manage sales of Charts, Publications, Digital Products, Update Services and associated Charts Business services to customers in marine sectors including recreational yachting and boating, marinas, commercial shipping, and naval defense within an allocated region from prospect identification, through qualification, presentation, proposals, negotiation and finally closing the sale.
*** Identify new markets and services and prioritize key market areas.
*** Exceed targets set out in bonus scheme for allocated areas.
*** Plan and execute sales activities in conjunction withother regional Account Managers including marketing activities such as new brochures, mail shots, exhibitions etc.
*** Attend conferences and exhibitions, meeting with customers and agents.
*** Make presentations to both customers and internal departments.
*** Understand customer requirements to advise on customized services.
*** Prepare quotations for new customers, and negotiate and settle contracts on behalf of company.
*** Conduct post sales activities to ensure levels of service are maintained and opportunities for upselling are exploited.
*** Develop customer retention of non-digital customers to become provider of choice for a digital solution.
*** Provide input for Product Development and new Product design.
