Area Sales Director at RTI Surgical Inc in Bridgewater, NJ

Job Objective: To drive sales growth and sales goal achievement of ALL Surgalign products through consistent management and direction of distribution partners and direct reports.

- Required Experience: 3-5 years of successful sales management and sales responsibility for spine technology through a distribution salesforce.

- Drive business growth and business consistency with Distribution partners, direct sales reports, and product specialists

o Manage distribution partners toward long term goal of exclusivity, with the specific objective of incremental progress with each partner.

o Work directly with key surgeons through distribution partners to drive increased market share and product usage

o Develop and maintain Distributor relationship

o Maintain Leadership interaction

o Contract creation and updates

o Commission and incentive management

o Inventory management

o Coordinate training and education

o Setting and tracking to quota

o Drive quarterly plan and review sessions with all key distribution partners

 Create and maintain scorecard

 Utilize distributor incentive to drive performance

o Manage A/R outstanding

o Work closely with marketing to drive messaging and marketing efforts to support partners and key surgeons

o Coordinate VIP visits

- Sales Talent Recruitment (Distribution and Direct)

o Target are recruit new distribution partners that can convert new business and penetrate markets that existing partners cannot

o Hire train and develop direct reports as required by market dynamics and business growth

- Drive Surgeon Relationship and Market Share

o Manage current surgeon relationships

 Local dinners and meetings

o Develop new relationships

 Cultivate new surgeon customers

 Local dinners and meetings



- Market Profitability

o Manage local hospital pricing submissions

o Involve Corporate Accounts in IDN/GPO discuss

o Drive distribution performance with incentive and goal achievement

o Utilize product leverage to drive distribution and surgeon market share
