Just like you, we are driven to make a difference in our world. Key Responsibilities Drive change and strategic direction for all aspects of manufacturing within the assigned area. Accountable for delivering EHS, Production, Quality, and Cost goals and objectives. Lead organization to develop short to mid-term area plans, including improvement activities, and organize team members to execute the plans to achieve strategy Responsible for meeting production plans for assigned area. Directly supervises shift supervisors and technical staff. Promotes teamwork, resolving conflict, and building strong work relationships as well as providing training and counseling for staff. Keeps staff informed of changes in business climate, environmental regulations, labor policy, quality considerations, and other conditions that could affect operations. Along with the Production/Operations Manager,responsible for developing and managingbudgetfor the assigned area, including expense, production forecast, operating rates, raw materials, and various operational supplies and services.
Experience and Education BS or MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent years of relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing project engineering or similar experience. Functional and Technical Skills Leadership experience and the ability to work with a diverse population of employees and contractors. Demonstrated ability to lead an organization through influence and engagement; empowering the team. Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives (multi-year program implementation). Strong understanding of complex continuous manufacturing operations. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be detail oriented. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels. Self-starter with demonstrated ability to lead and drive operations improvements. Strong computer skills.
