Area Manager - Field Data Collection
Industry experience is not required. All industry related training will be provided.
The chosen applicant will be responsible for all aspects of operations and our gradual growth throughout NY, NJ, CT & PA. It takes hard work, commitment, excellent communication and an entrepreneurial passion to succeed.
At the onset, responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) developing new client relationships, building a field team, completing all requested field work, managing operations, attending industry meetings and implementing marketing strategies. Fieldwork primarily consists of outdoor equipment installation at intersections or on street segments. Fieldwork can be labor intensive with varying hours (includes a lot of night work), in varying weather conditions, and with a significant amount of driving. As the area grows, responsibilities will expand to include scheduling, payroll, inventory management and employee management.
Candidate will be working independently as the sole representative of the Company in the region. The Area Manager will work closelywith the VP of Operations via phone, Skype and email to actively determine goals and priorities throughout each season. The Regional manager will receive mentoring remotely from the Southeastern Regional Manager and work together to coordinate work efforts in the regions between both territories. There will also be in-person visits multiple times a year.
