Area Director of Revenue Management
Responsible for balancing the financial objectives of different lodging products to maximize total revenues and profit associated with total revenue for Outrigger properties. Accountable for providing guidance on pricing, positioning and inventory of the hotels. Develops and recommends sales strategy for pricing of the transient customer, wholesale, and group segments. Identifies new revenue opportunities and effectively communicates sales strategy and pricing to all key stakeholders, leadership of weekly strategy meetings, forecasts, budgets, and the mastery of channel management. Maintains productive relationships with stakeholders, including hotel general managers, sales leaders, Area Financial Controller and Channel Leaders. Is responsible directly for Business performance analysis, reporting, strategic business planning, budgeting and forecasting on a group level. Takes the lead in learning and development of the revenue teams and general managers with regard to revenue management.
Minimum five (5) years hospitality experience required. Previous experience in a stand-alone Revenue leadership position required. Multiple property experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in business, travel industry management or other related field required; previous experience in hotel management or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable job knowledge and skills have been acquired may be substituted for a degree. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills required. Must be computer proficient. Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PMS, CRS, BI required.
