new client program being built from the ground up for an innovative and highly anticipated product launch! We are seeking a
dynamic Area Account Manager with a proven track record in industrial sales or large account sales. This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment and is eager to contribute to a groundbreaking initiative.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the success of our new program by identifying, prospecting, and closing large-scale deals. You will also build long-term client relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions, driving results for this exciting new venture.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospecting & Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the industrial and research sectors.
- Strategic Selling: Navigate complex, multi-decision-maker environments to close high-value deals.
- Solution Selling: Understand client needs and craft creative, tailored solutions to address pain points.
- Demonstrations: Conduct virtual and in-person demonstrations of the containment system, showcasing its value and functionality.
- Project Management Collaboration: Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless sales implementation and delivery.
- Team Selling: Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., technical experts, marketing, and customer success teams) to drive successful outcomes.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups.
Qualifications:- Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of professional sales experience, selling in industrial and related industries.
- Proven success managing large-value deals (above $100K) in strategic selling environments.
- Skills:
- Demonstrated "hunter" mentality with a focus on new customer acquisition.
- Expertise in navigating multi-decision-maker sales processes.
- Strong creative and consultative solution-selling abilities.
- Proficiency in virtual and in-person presentation techniques.
- Understanding of project management principles related to sales execution.
