Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Technical Expert within our higher education team. This role offers remote work opportunities with travel to client as requested.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with prospects or clients to understand their business needs, define research objectives, identify data sources, and develop analysis plans with a focus on fraud and identity verification.
• Conduct needs assessments, gap analysis, business process review, and exploratory data analysis using multiple large-scale data sources.
• Conduct fraud and identity verification pilots and develop briefings and reports to communicate key findings to team members, prospects, and clients.
• Support development of statements of work, proposal responses, and solution demonstrations with a focus on optimal resource mix and profit margin
• Design and build pipelines for data engineering and machine learning.
• Implement data integration and data analytics solutions to support client outcomes.
• Develop solution architectures and business process improvement recommendations based on client needs and fraud pilot results; present these recommendations to clients.
• Deliver and support fraud and identity verification implementation services for new and existing clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or other quantitative field, or equivalent experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Python, R, SAS, SQL).
• This position requires candidates be a US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident.
• 10 + years of professional experience
• 10 + years of experience using extract, transform, load (ETL), data pipeline, or data integration tools; API's and related tools
• 4+ years of experience with data mining/machine learning/AI methods, such as clustering or anomaly detection, to understand data patterns and select appropriate model techniques in an academic or professional setting
• 4+ years in fraud and identity verification solutions, preferably using Socure ID+ and DocV
• 4+ years in Higher Education industry or related public sector experience
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
• Effectively deliver projects on-time, on-budget within the scope that meets or exceeds client expectations.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong client and team interaction skills.
• Critical thinker with excellent attention to detail.

The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $137,000 to $234,400.
