Overview
Architect and Interior Designer specializes in designing and building interiors for safety, functionality, and aesthetics. The incumbent work as a part of the architect and design team developing projects from concepts through construction administration, with an emphasis on the interior. Architect and Interior Designer will liaisons with Client project managers, building maintenance contractors, general contractors, and/or other personnel, performing space and architectural surveys, and collecting user requirements. The responsibilities of an Architect and Interior Designer includes, but not limited to drafting plans to create or refinish spaces in buildings or offices; collaborating with architects, engineers, construction managers, interior designers, construction teams, project managers of different disciplines, (e.g., plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, etc.), and inspectors.

Perform space and architectural surveys, collect user requirements, and interface with Government project managers, building maintenance contractors, general contractors, and/or other personnel

Laptop and desk computer.
Individual Protective Equipment (i.e., Hardhat,Steel Toed Boots, Safety Glasses, Work Gloves, Hearing Protection, etc.

US Government leased, owned, and rented vehicles.
Valid, current U.S. Passport
Valid, current U.S. Drivers License
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
May travel to and throughout various CONUS and OCONUS locations, periodically or occasionally to remote, austere, remote environments.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Able to lift twenty-five percent (25%) of his/her body weight over his/her head

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelors or masters degree in architecture or interior design
Certifications:
Must have Valid U.S. Drivers and be able to obtain an International Drivers License
Must have a valid US Passport
Clearance:
Must have a current, adjudicated, and active TS-SCI w/Poly
Experience:
Seven (7) years of experience in architecture or interior design
Proficiency with AutoCAD
Skills:
Possess knowledge, skills and abilities, including minimum requisite credentialed architecture and interior design certifications.
Demonstrate a resourcefulness, be able to work autonomously as well as within an energetic team collaborative process. A successful candidate will demonstrate forward, creative thinking and a willingness to go above and beyond when project demands require.
SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead, manage, and supervise a multi-functional team of Architect and Interior Designer personnel
Advise and assist Client with planning, programming, budgeting, and executing Architect and Interior Designer requirements.
Serve as team lead on single or multiple projects
