1. Works as a member of a team of internal resources and external vendors to select, configure and implement a packaged software solution for practice management and electronic medical records.
2. Assists with all aspects of the project including process mapping, software design and configuration, system testing, training development, conversion planning and site-by-site implementation.
3. Coordinates with others on project team to develop the project plan, including costs and departmental tasks.
4. Works with our technical staff to coordinate the installation of computer hardware and/or network connectivity as needed.
Works closely with physicians, center managers, medical assistants and others in our user community.
Develops high quality documentation such as system requirements, design specifications, user training plans, user guides, etc.
Functions as a key member of a multi-dimensional IS team.
Works closely with technical and non-technical staff to gather requirements
Coordinates and documents business and technical presentations
Serves as technical subject matter expert on projects and trains users and others throughout the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned.
