Kforce is seeking an Applications Systems Analyst for a client located in Austin, TX. Summary: The IO data warehouse has a requirement for an experienced Applications Systems Analyst. The candidate is needed to work data intake projects within IO from design development to implementation with key focuses on SQL based reports, some Tableau reporting, dashboard development, and supporting documentation. These intake projects consist of manipulating data from all aspects of IO, in order to provide data analytics for end to end business needs; Facilities, Infrastructure Operations, Asset Data, and Data Center Consolidation. The Applications Systems Analyst is responsible for reviewing, understanding, and interpreting this data. In addition, this person will be documenting data and reporting requirements, project planning, management, execution, training and quality assurance. Maintenance and modification of existing reports is also required. This position is also critical to data center consolidation, as this position will be working the presentation layer for data required by decision makers and senior leadership in their consolidation strategy. Essential Duties:

  • Perform requirements analysis for new system features, analysis of current system capabilities and limitations and design/engineer new system capabilities to meet requirements in an architect capacity only
  • Administer, design, and maintain real time dashboards integrating data from numerous data sources into web based dashboard displays that update in real time
  • Example technologies on which the dashboards may be based include Edge Technologies' AppBoard and enPortal, IBM Real Time Monitoring, and other similar dashboard systems that update in real time
  • Administer, design, and maintain custom business intelligence reports for static, -point in time- reporting systems
  • Data Analyst/SQL Report Writer
  • Work data intake projects within IO from design development to implementation


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience - 8years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
