Within our Care Delivery IT organization, we’re passionate about the work we do. The Application Systems III Programming Analyst role is a critical and valuable part of our team. This position works at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities, formulate and define system scope and objectives on small to mid-size projects, devise or modify processes to solve problems, considering computer application structure, technical capacity and desired result, prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written or modified, and design, code, test, debug and document those programs and provide guidance and training to less experienced analyst/programmers.
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or training in specific programming languages, tools, systems analysis and design techniques and project management methodology.
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Intermediate knowledge of specific languages and tools used in the applicable technical environment; understanding of computer programming languages and system design concepts; logic and analytical ability; communication, organizational, interpersonal and project management skills. Specific systems, applications or business area knowledge and systems analysis and design.
Experience with Epic Willow Module is preferred; focused and motivated to provide excellent care for our patients; a team player who can collaborate with others but is also effective at working independently at times; enjoys collaborating and partnering with Clinicians and leaders to solve problems and achieve goals; possesses a solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles; regards mistakes or challenges as opportunities to improve and takes measures to make them visible to their team; familiarity with database querying tools (SQL/Microsoft Access).
Minimum Experience Requirements
5 years of experience using and maintaining applications software.
