As a key member of our Information Technology organization, you will be responsible for evaluating application environments and access control processes to ensure they are being designed, deployed and implemented in compliance with company standards and industry standard methodologies. This includes performing security assessments and user access analyses, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions and process improvements for the relevant operational teams. 


  • Play a lead role in the development and maintenance of the security strategies, policies and procedures for company applications
  • Interview and work with business leaders, content owners, and IT to understand application and system security requirements
  • Recognize and identify potential areas where existing application security policies and procedures require change or new development
  • Architect, recommend, and assist with the implementation of application controls and processes
  • Document security and access control frameworks for applications
  • Perform both periodic and ad-hoc analyses of user accesses to ensure compliance with established control processes
  • Manage and administer SAPsecurity access across SAP platforms
  • Partner with business process owners to design, implement, support and maintain SAP application security to align with business requirements
  • Support administration of SAP GRC Access Controls for role management, emergency access, and risk analysis

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years work experience in an operational or analyst role within an IT organization
  • Experience with evaluating application controls and processes, identifying deficiencies and/or gaps, and then architecting and implementing improvements
  • Proficient with SAPsecuritydesign, build, deployment, and audits for standard role-based SAPsecurity that meets business requirements
  • Solid grasp of Segregation of Duty (SoD) concerns with respect to SAPSecurity
  • Knowledge of Active Directory concepts and configuration, including account management, OU structure, security groups, and rights/access management
  • Experience consulting with business process owners and application teams in addressing requirements to integrate their application(s) and/or service(s) with Active Directory
  • Superb communication skills with the ability to convey security concepts and principles to a variety of audiences
  • Strong relationship skills for use in social interactions at all levels of the organization (e.g., partnering, conflict management, mediation, etc.)
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and resolution skills, with good attention to detail
  • Demonstrated skills in meeting facilitation, and verbal and written communications
  • Self-motivated, proactive and driven, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Expertise in MS Office tools: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in typical project management methodologies such as waterfall and iterative
  • Conceptual understanding of Identity Management
  • Experience in complex SAP environments supporting multiple components
  • Experience in SAP GRC.
