Customer Experience:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Understands needs in the market by visiting customers
  • Understands customer needs and develops solution for those needs
  • Works together with Sales, Order Handling & Project Management to ensure improving/ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Ensure customer satisfaction surveys are executed, analyzed and actioned
  • Host customers during onsite visits, inclusive of tours, meals, product technical reviews and commercial negotiations

 

Product Excellence:

  • Develop and present product and product training material
  • Assists in the definition and communication of the value proposition of the product, to the customer
  • Define and communicate product value propositions
  • Provide product, application and technical support to the Sales Team

 

Commercial Results:

  • Create demand through technical promotion, providing solutions and value selling
  • Collaborate, develop and implement annual territory plans in conjunction with Territory General Manager’s
  • In collaboration with the Sales team, drives achievement of orders & profitability targets
  • Ensure achievement of established targets through metric tracking and application of continuous improvement methods
  • Prepare proposals leveraging a competitive solution, addressing customer needs, while outperforming competition
  • Issue proposals to customers and supports commercial and technical inquires
  • Prepares accurate cost estimates to support proposals

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

Required Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electrical or Mechanical preferred.
  • 3-5 years of customer facing roles
  • Worked in industrial manufacturing environment with long lead-time, engineered-to-order product
  • Candidate must have knowledge of engineering project management
  • SAPExperience
  • 5-10 years of results oriented experience in marketing and/or sales environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the electric power industry preferred
  • Experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand bid/proposal specification, both from a technical and commercial perspective, including interpretation of contractual terms and conditions
