Conduct tests on motors and controls as the work load demands.
Work with project teams (NPD, Simplification and Quality) to execute test plans, assure that the test procedures have been fully developed and followed, track units through the test, act as a liaison between the lab and the engineer, conduct or monitor tests to keep schedule on track and assemble final reports.
Complete test auditing to verify that documentation is complete, equipment is calibrated and results are accurate prior to sending to the customer.
Assist in the development of test standards and safety documentation. Provide training for new employees and temporary employees on test equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree with demonstrated hands on experience.
Knowledge of electric circuits and basic equipment used for testing (oscilloscope, multimeter, power meter, etc.)
Knowledge of wiring and mechanical systems for test setups.
High respect for safety and following identified safety expectations.
Report writing skills to include Microsoft Office.
Good work ethic requiring little supervision in completing tasks.
Ability to trouble shoot, rapidly learn operational characteristics of new products, and communicate issues to the customer
