Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Data and Analytics team as an Analytics Functional Architect who will facilitate the delivery of cross-functional analytic solutions for a diverse set of internal business customers. As a key member of our D&A team at ADM, youwill have the opportunity to help define our operations as an Analytics organization that aims to build impactful solutions and deliver results through a variety of exciting and challenging projects

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, change agent, and exceptional problem solver with a demonstrated track record of successfully leading analytics projects. We are particularly seeking a team member who has worked extensively with the Finance and Accounting organization with experience in one of these capacities:
  • Has led analytics/reporting projects or financial systems implementation projects from the Finance side of the organization, or
  • Has led analytics projects or financial systems implementation projects from the IT side but worked extensively with the finance team to identify reporting capabilities and specific report requirements needed
  • Has managed financial systems, including financial master data or reporting systems
  • Has been the Finance point person to work with IT to define reporting requirements, and test developed reports
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of analytics solutions for the R2R function, focusing on finance and accounting processes such as general ledger, financial reporting, financial planning & analysis, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with the Product Team, and with key stakeholders in finance and accounting to translate business requirements into analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure effective migration from solution development to service delivery teams
  • Act as lead liaison between the development team and the business stakeholders, and organize the Product Team for multiple initiatives, including prioritization of work
  • Develop and optimize reporting frameworks within SAP and EDW systems to streamline financial reporting and enhance visibility into key financial metrics.
  • Developing product roadmaps and project plans by eliciting requirements and recommendations from subject matter experts, identifying workstream dependencies, establishing owners, and getting alignment on timelines
  • Partnering with business users and leaders in problem solving approaches and translating business problems to analytics needs.
  • Strong business aptitude, showing the ability to rapidly learn new problem domains, and become conversant in the domain with subject matter experts
  • Assist Analytics leadership in executing roadmaps and monitoring performance against agreed to goals
  • Maintaining proper communication cadence to hold our business partners accountable and ensure successful delivery of programs
  • Surfacing and communicating technical risks while actively working to mitigate them
  • Demonstrating ability to drive deliverables though direct and indirect reporting relationships.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP Financials, particularly in modules such as FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling), providing guidance on integrating these with EDW analytics solutions.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to ensure proper data integration and architecture support for finance analytics initiatives.
  • Lead efforts to modernize and standardize reporting processes, leveraging automation and advanced analytics techniques to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with SAP and EDW teams to drive the integration of financial data into broader organizational analytics initiatives.
Job Requirements Functional Job Requirements:
  • Strong experience in finance and accounting processes, with a focus on Record-to-Report (R2R).
  • Expertise in SAP Financials (FI/CO modules), with experience in integrating SAP with analytics tools.
  • Great curiosity, enthusiasm and innovation, organization, integrity, ingenuity, results-orientation, self-motivation, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced competitive environment
  • Strong ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management and a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • In addition to a strong attention to detail, ideal candidates will also be able to see the strategic implications for the business in the big picture and start solving for future problems, not just today's specific challenge.
  • You are fluent in telling the story to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Reduces complex problems to their root cause and main drivers, and challenges assumptions even from senior leaders
  • Resilient and able to work autonomously in the face of ambiguity
  • Familiarity with EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) architecture and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with financial reporting frameworks, reconciliations, and consolidations.
Technical Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FI / CO ( S/4 HANA ), Financial ERP systems , EDW platforms such as SAP BW or Datasphere , Databricks etc.
  • Strong knowledge of visualization in Power BI and SAP SAC
  • Familiarity with automation and process optimization techniques within finance functions.
  • Understanding of data governance and data management best practices in finance.
Educational Requirements:
  • 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics or another related degree of study , MBA Preferred
  • 3+ years in program/project management, preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in finance analytics, with a focus on R2R and SAP Financials.
  • 7+ years of exposure to enterprise-level EDW analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving cross-functional projects involving finance, data engineering, and analytics teams.
