Develop software solutions for Critical Systems Department such as intelligent transportation systems, oil and gas systems, space flight systems, and decision support systems; will utilize machine learning, analytics, and other advanced computer science techniques along with traditional system engineering software development; perform in all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirements definition, software/systems design, implementation, testing, and integration; initiate advanced research and development programs, interact with clients, and make technical presentations.
Requires a BS or BA degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related, with a minimum of 3.0 GPA. Applicable internships or educationexperience is required. Applicant will serve both as a software developer and researcher developing new technology areas for the Department. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well individually or as a member of a project team are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and PC development skills are required. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
