Position Summary:
Evaluate existing Peapod Sourcing practices and partner with Peapod Fresh Category Leadership to author and execute a Peapod Fresh Sourcing calendar. Ownership and accountability of timelines and targets. Build subject matter expertise in Peapod fresh strategy and relevant sourcing approaches. Execute Peapod Fresh Sourcing Events to achieve targeted savings.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
> Identify and execute Fresh cost-savings opportunities within Peapod
> Evaluate the impact of changes within the supply chain (cost, order lead time, shelf life, shrink, etc.)
> Evaluate the consumer-ready fresh packaging needs for Peapod with RBS NFR/Retail Supply teams
> Leverage size and scale of combined AD USA brands by collaborating with RBS Fresh Sourcing Analysts and Great Local brand Category Leadership
> Leverage cross brand collaboration opportunities including assortment decisions, product specification, & supplier selection
> Deliver consistent, accurate, and efficient analysis and recommendations during every sourcing event to enable Peapod leadership to make fact-based decisions to improve COGs, while maintaining or improving product freshness
> Present feedback and recommendations from sourcing events to Peapod Fresh Category leadership on how we are executing against our plan and how we can minimize risks. Use data-driven analysis throughout the Sourcing process and ensure audit trail
> Drive and influence the commercial plan development, category planning and negotiations, top to top materials, FMI, etc.
> Monitor performance of sourcing events versus projections and follow up where warranted
> Source available Fresh marketing dollars in conjunction with Peapod Marketing team
> Provide progress updates to Peapod Fresh Category Team and Fresh Sourcing Director. Escalate any risks to Peapod and Sourcing leadership as needed.
> Primary interfaces will be CMs/CM+1s and external vendor leads Requirements Basic Qualifications:
> Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
> 6 years experience
> Experience in Fresh Category Management preferred
> Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite
