This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
The successful candidate will be part of the Manufacturing IT (MIT) organization within the Automated Material Handling Systems group (AMHS). The scope includes creating machine learning and analytic models that other engineering teams will use to drive process and development improvements. These include predictive models used to improve sustaining and manufacturing throughput by analyzing historical data from such sources as SAR.Net and interfaces with 3rd party applications.
The scope also includes building advanced analytic products to solve such problems as improved delivery times, equipment availability, MCBI, equipment efficiency. The candidate should have experience in applying analytic and software solutions in a fast-paced and complex business environment, and be able to communicate complex technical analysis to both senior engineers and also non-technical staff.
Integrates, tests, installs, configures, and/or supports Factory automation software systems. Coordinates factory requirements, maps them to automation systems capabilities, and recommends technical solutions. Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation system problems. Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems health goals, as well as emerging capability needs. Serves as site expert for a designated set of automation systems, including representing integrated needs in cross functional and cross site teams. Position may include some software development of related enhancements, supplemental systems, and/or support and monitoring tools.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internshipexperiences.
- Must have a a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar degree.
