Alliance Manager

This role manages external projects for the market, resulting from in-licensing transactions or existing alliance partnerships through development, regulatory, pre-launch and commercialization phases. Leads cross-functional internal and external core project teams to ensure that project progress and spending meet pre-defined objectives. Drives identification, mitigation of project risks, facilitates internal and external communications to keep stakeholders informed of commitments, due dates and progress. This role requires bringing together internal and external alliance resources to support new product submissions and launches for the US market. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Organize, schedule, and facilitate cross-functional team meetings to exchange information, drive project’s progress, identify risks, contingency planning, obtain resource commitment and   promote collaboration
  • Contribute towards creating harmonized Global Alliance Management standards, processes and tools for efficient management and communication of alliance programs
  • Support the new and existing relationships with Alliance Partners and contractual obligations of all assigned projects
  • Sit in on project calls and meetings to ensure projects are progressing and the teams are having productive meetings, while staying informed of the progress
  • Work with current partners to explore additional opportunities outside of active projects
  • Work with business development team members to explore additional opportunities
  • Keep adatabase of all CMO, CDMO, and Third Party organizations, with detailed information

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degreerequired, Master’s preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experienceworking within an alliance management function
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Leadership qualities
  • Ability to travel20 – 25% of the time
