The Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) seeks a BC/BE Allergist/Immunologist to join our growing team in Anchorage, Alaska. As a Level II Trauma center, with more than 20 medical specialties, ANMC serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the entire state. Our unique patient population, cohesive team and breathtaking location make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!
In this new role, you will facilitate the development of an Allergy/Immunology service line, providing primarily outpatient care for both adult and pediatric patients, with occasional inpatient consults. In addition, you will care for patients at rural field clinics throughout Alaska and provide telemedicine consults utilizing our world renowned Alaska Federal Health Care Access Network – www.afhcan.org.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; day shift; no evenings, weekends or on-callrequired.
Qualifications: Completion of an ACGME/AOA approved residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics and an ACGME/AOA approved fellowship in Allergy/Immunology; BE/BC by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology; flexible, collaborative, team player with excellent relationship building skills; culturally sensitive.
