The right candidate should
•Under general supervision, provides intermediate programming, configuring and/or analysis skills for specific system assignments
•Independently manages interaction between other system teams, vendor teams, and technical support areas as required.
•For observed system issue troubleshoots, conducts impact analysis, define solution options and escalate appropriately. When required define technical requirements and has ability to coordinate available resources to solve problems.
•The candidate should be familiar in trending software and design practices.
•This job does not lead others.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
•Builds effective relationships with stakeholders – both technical and business. Utilizes business knowledge to explain technical activities in business terms.
•Seeks opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities as needed. The ideal candidate should be proficient in .NETas well willing to work in technologies such Ratabase – the rating engine used by Bond.
•Performs basic Kanban/Lean Planning activities and adheres to the best practices of this delivery practice.
•Works alongside GSO partners as required, and provides technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced employees.
•Ensures work complies with Travelers Bond standards, processes, and protocols. Applies knowledge of current industry trends and techniques with a focus on Lean software delivery.
•Other duties may be assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent required. 3 years of programming/development experience required.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. 5 years of programming/development experience preferred.

May require occasional off hours support depending upon team/departmental needs and priorities.
Primary working Experience in CGI Ratabase.
Programming/analysis experience in .Net would be a plus.
Operates standard office equipment. Requires extended periods of computer use. Requires extended periods of sitting.
Licensing or Certificates
Depends on the specific role but some examples may include: ITIL Remedy Java certification Microsoft certification.net Kanban/Agile/SAFe
