A successful Aftermarket Integrated Product Team Leader (AMIPT) leader will lead AMIPT which is made up of a cross-functional team of professionals from CSE, Engineering, GSE, F135 Sustainment, Military Engines Strategic Sourcing, & ELMT. An AMIPT leader will lead sustainment activity within the CIPT and coordinate Sustainment activity between engineering and sustainment.
AMIPT Leaders will report up through the Sustainment Program Director and will be co-located with CIPT leaders and are charged to lead their hardware AMIPTs.
AMIPT leaders will have ownership of the Part Maintenance Strategy deliverable of reviews on their components, with full accountability to expose gaps, identify solutions and drive the teams to closure.
AMIPT Leaders responsibilities include:
Integration with Joint Program Office WBS engineering, logistics and depot/field counterparts and manage component-level messaging.
Management of repair tasks within CIPT and align with sustainment program priority working with the Sustainment Repair Manager
Management of Limits tasks within CIPT and align with Sustainment program priority
Coordinate and lead Comprehensive Part Review for CIPT
Coordination of CIPT inputs to Sustainment Forecasts
Management of Sustainment cost reduction tasks within CIPT and align with sustainment priority working with the Sustainment Affordability Manager
? Bachelor?s Degree in engineering, logistics, or business required
? 8+ years of aerospace experience in engineering or program management
? 1+ years of propulsion system sustainment experiencerequired
? US Citizenship required due to federal contracts
? Master?s degree in engineering, logistics, or business
? 3+ years of propulsion system sustainment experience
? PMP or Six SigmaBlack Belt certification
