The Intelligence group provides high-end systems engineering and integration products and services, data analytics and software development to national and military intelligence customers. Serving federal agencies and the Intelligence Community for more than 50 years, the Intelligence group helps our clients meet their mission needs by providing trusted advisors, leading-edge technologies, and innovative solutions.
We are searching for candidates to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) and Information Technology-Information Assurance-Information Management (IT-IA-IM) support for our client. They are responsible for all applied and advanced Research and Development, as well as the development and operation of technical demonstrations and operational prototypes. Advanced technologies are developed to support revolutionary changes and upgrades to current system operations in the conduct of the mission. Capability pathfinders are developed to inform the client on new concepts of operation, prove out new sources or methods, and explore technologies to fill mission gaps, or validate new mission areas. Specific responsibilities for this position are:
a) Provide support to spacecraft development, integration and test, initialization and operations. Provide technical and analytic ability in the areas of electronics and microelectronics. Evaluate thermal analyses and thermodynamic design for components and systems. Provide thorough evaluation and design assessments for various approaches to components and microelectronics. Provide assessments and evaluations of technologies that may improve the performance, reduce Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP), and/or reduce the cost of the manufacture. Provide assessments and evaluations of advanced system designs and enhanced ground-processing capabilities. Conduct or contribute to architecture studies.
b) Provide technical analysis regarding advanced spacecraft timekeeping systems.
c) Provide technical assessments and advice regarding spacecraft power systems including components, research, advanced developments, and implementation opportunities.
d) Provide technical and analytic ability in Cyber Security for spacecraft engineering.
e) Provide technical and analytic ability evaluating spacecraft supply chains.
Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.
