About the role

We are looking for an Advisor – Financial Planning & Analysis to complete IOC's financial performance reporting for both internal and external stakeholders. This involves providing valuable, accurate and timely financial performance information on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. The role can be based in Montreal, Labrador City or Sept-Iles.

Reporting to the Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis, you will:

  • Work with other members for the Finance team and other cross functional groups to prepare periodic reporting to internal and external stakeholders;

  • Works with the various IT solutions required to create the required reports (Oracle, Hyperion, SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC), SAP Analytics, etc.)
  • Assist with the preparation of insightful commentary to communicate monthly performance and explain variances
  • Prepare supporting presentations to facilitate performance management discussion
  • Supports the calculation and publishing of KPI targets for performance management,
  • Collaborate with and provide guidance to other team members to expand understanding, innovate and continuously improve.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business / Accounting, CPA designation an asset
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in a similar industry
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • English is a must and French an asset,
  • Proficiency in MS tools
