Located in Howard County, Maryland, Nteligen designs and develops secure information sharing platforms that are used to mitigate and eliminate zero-day attacks and to prevent data spillage in both high security Government communication and corporate enterprise environments.

The responsibility of the Advanced Engineer includes software development, documentation development, component test development, component test execution, system test derivation, system test, and other general software development tasks. The qualifications for Advanced Engineer include knowledge of engineering principles to include research and engineering assignments, experience in the generation of artifacts that support the full development life-cycle, a minimum of 2 years' experience as a software development team member, and a degree in engineering or scientific discipline. The Advanced Engineer for this effort will have experience in developing software for cross domain solutions that are deployed on a security enhanced operating platform.

Requirements: BS degree in engineering or scientific discipline (4 years of professional experience may be substituted for a BS degree) and 5 to 8 years of professional experience.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience working in a Linux and Git based development environment
  • Expert with full life cycle development (SDLC)
  • Extensive experience programming in C++ and Java
  • 3 years of experience designing and developing MySQL Databases
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding programming and debugging skills
  • Familiarity with Build Management, Continuous Integration, and Automated Testing (Maven, Jenkins)
  • Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred (but not required):

  • Cross Domain knowledge
  • Cloud development experience
  • Familiar with NIST standards (800-53, CNSSI 1253….)
  • Familiar with Ansible or familiar tools
  • Experience estimating resources (hourly) for new projects or project extensions

Requirements:

BS degree in engineering, scientific, or systems management (4 years of experience may be substituted for a BS degree) and 4 years of experience.

Knowledgeable in planning, organizing, and directing research and development programs and activities

$90K to 100K
