Support Directorate wide mechanical integration and operations functions including but not limited to mechanical planning, design, construction, acquisition, contract management, and mechanical cost estimating and analysis for the Facilities, MILCON, and Environmental Management Directorate, Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Supports facility mechanical designs and construction project teams, and on-site mechanical activities. Analyze mechanical tasking requirements, establish mechanical scope and objectives, develop mechanical POAMs, perform relevant mechanical research; assist with developing supporting mechanical documents such as briefings, information papers, and reports for facilities and infrastructure. Support integrated baseline reviews, project change management and acquisition reviews. Coordinate with internal and external personnel, brief customers, finalize mechanical documents, staff through appropriate offices, and obtain approvals. Travel 4-6 weeks per quarter as required, both CONUS and OCONUS.
Excellent Knowledge of Mechanical/HVAC Systems.
Provide facilities mechanicalengineering technical support. Provide technical expertise to mechanical designs and construction projects and expertise to all MDA organizations. Provide support and mechanical expertise for facilities planning, programming, design, construction and equipment installation for required BMDS facilities and infrastructure
Research, review, and recommend changes to support the implementation of mechanical upgrades Agency wide.
Support Special Studies and Analysis. Troubleshoot mechanical problems. Support mechanical commissioning.
Assist with mechanical policy reviews, integration, implementation, execution and compliance agency wide
Prepare and/or updatemechanical policy documentation and make recommendations for best practices.
Assist with mechanical planning, conducting, and responding to internal and external tasks.
Provide mechanical /technical responses, programmatic documentation, and/or presentations.
Assist with preparing and coordinating responses and supporting documentation, and securing approval.
Prepare decision documentation such as briefings and supporting materials (white papers, fact sheets, status reports, progress reports, courses of action, gap analysis, and information papers) that support life-cycle mechanical management of MDA facilities, infrastructure, and environmental activities. Decision documentation will be at levels suitable for presentation at the General Officer/Senior Executive Service level.

Experience with: United States Corps of Engineers (USACE) and/or Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC)
Familiarity with Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization mechanical project requirements
Facility Condition Assessments knowledge
Understanding of the application of funding to MILCON and sustainment projects
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word. PowerPoint, Excel)
