Advanced Application Engineering Associate Manager (Multiple Positions) (Accenture LLP; Hartford, CT): Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects. Utilize modular architectures and integration techniques to realize value for Accenture or our clients. Develop system specifications and interfaces for moderately complex components. Create operational documentation for the applications. Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production. Maintain applications according to SLAs. Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll-outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications. Understand strategic direction set by senior management and implement methods and procedures set by management. Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
•Of the requiredexperience, 3 years of experience must be in each of the following: Performing DevOps activities, including provisioning Dev/Test environments, resolving environmental issues, and automating releaseprocesses by utilizing Jenkins, UrbanCode, Rally, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Apache Ivy, ZUUL, and Eureka; utilizing SVN, Autosys, Iris, Rabbix, and Rabbit MQ; performing Impact analysis on Environment issues; release management processes, including moving code and configuration from lower environments to a production environment; supporting multiple agile teams in ensuring that the environments are functioning for their development and testing activities; and setting-up tollgates to catch issues and defects early in the release cycle.
•Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
