Purpose of Job

We are seeking a talented Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Senior Web Developer for our Phoenix, AZ facility.

The Lead Web Developer (AEM) will build and maintain a state-of-the-art digital platform that utilizes Adobe's Digital Marketing Product Suite.

This role will also be engaged in all phases of the software development lifecycle which include; gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements,responding to outages and creating application system models. SDIs primary functions are to design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications forinternal use, perform defect corrections (analysis, design, code). In addition, SDIs participate in design meetings and consult with business clients to refine, test, and debug programs to meet business needs, and interact and sometimes direct third party partners in the achievement of business and technology initiatives. This is an advanced-level role occupied by those demonstrating in-depth technical and/or business knowledge within their respective areas of specialization. Incumbents work independently on complex work assignments and may determine methods and procedural approaches on new assignments. In addition,responsibilities include serving as resources tointernal and third party team members on escalated technical issues and analyzing and designing specifications for lessexperienced team members to execute.

Job Requirements

  • Participate in the implementation of Adobe Experience Manager, including design, definition and development of AEM content type models, workflows, templates, and components, and permissions.
  • Set up and configure AEM authoring, publishing and dispatcher environment with Adobe recommended best practices.
  • Integrate AEM with other marketing products and e-commerce solutions.
  • Work closely with Managed Service Team or vendor to ensure sound practices regarding site architecture, performance, reliability and content delivery are implemented.
  • Assist in deploying applications to Dev, QA and Production environments and migrations.
  • Work with front-end technologies and frameworks.
  • Follow best practices for secure web programming and deployment. Adhere to internal best practices with respect to coding standards, unit test coverage, automation and continuous integration.
  • Help troubleshoot complex technical problems involving multiple environment and application integration.
  • Document and monitor technical issues and recommend enhancements in support of best-in-class online experiences.
  • Serve as the project expert, retaining and communicating all project history.
  • Manage, evaluate and respond to change requests and bug backlogs.
  • Facilitate ongoing site maintenance, content updates, enhancements, design, bug fixes and new feature releases.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilizing technical expertise;
  • Creates system requirements, performs design and analysis, and coding and unit testing of complex to highly complex system functionality and/or defect correction across multiple platforms.
  • Identifies ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
  • Resolves complex technical design issues.
  • Provides functional and/or technical guidance in evaluating applications systems or evaluating requests for proposals.
  • Coordinates changes and influences and prioritizes tasks with business or technical departments.

  • Identifies and creates solutions to improve system performance and availability.Facilitates root cause analysis of system issues to minimize impact and future occurrences.

  • Coordinates system application transition from development teams to maintenance and production teams, and/or constructs and implements necessary controls to assure system/application traceability..

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree Required or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 6 or more years of software development experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding within a specific I/T discipline(s)/technology(s)
  • Adobe Experience Manager Developer with strong Java/J2EE background in both front-end web design and AEM integration.
  • 6+ years of AEM/CQ5 experience with 3+ full-cycle AEM projects and at least two years of web experience.
  • 4+ years of strong web content management experience with Adobe AEM/CQ5.
  • Experience with integrating AEM/CQ5 and CQ6.1 with other products and vendors.
  • Solid experience with CQ5 building blocks, including templates, components, dialogs widgets and bundles.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and related tools
  • Expertise in full stack development within AEM.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
