The Administrative Director is responsible for program development, administrative practice management/operations, and fiscal/billing at the Bronx Health Collective (BHC). This includes oversight and management of the Homeless Program Headquarters and Patient Care Hub site. The Administrative Director also impacts billing collections, advocacy, strategic planning and program budgeting. Additionally, the Administrative Director will maintain, develop, and grow the homeless program, build capacity, create and sustain key partnerships, understand and respond to patients’ needs, and lead all aspects of existing and expanded programming. This position works in collaboration with the Medical Director in areas affecting clinical and overall program operations.
Master’s degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field required.
Minimum five years experience in a health services administration/management position, preferably in a community-based setting.
Experience must include the following areas: program development and implementation, staff management and fiscal responsibilities. Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
Experience with grants administration highly desirable. Familiarity with: (1) federal grant requirements and reporting methods strongly desired; (2) NYC and NYS DOH licensing and operating regulations strongly preferred; (3) electronic medical records strongly desired.
Knowledge of database management, database programming, and meaningful use standards, patient centered medical home, standards, and electronic data reporting strongly desired.
