ADAS Principal Program Manager

The ADAS Principal Program Manager controls and integrates at a regional and global level the development of new technologies related to ADAS in conjunction with Honda’s global safety and ADAS strategies.

Create and maintain the program schedule related to key milestones and deliverables related to assigned models including the following: Internal HDMA, 4MOC/HGRX, and Supplier (Global and Regional) schedules
Coordinate with the global office key deliverables to regional developments
Lead weekly meetings with the global and regional offices to ensure correlation
Ensure clear deliverables are understood by impacted/adjacent departments
Identify opportunities and propose solutions to ensure an efficient program schedule
Lead weekly internal meetings to confirm the project deliverables & tasks are clear and on a path for success.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities where global and regional combined developments exist and propose solutions.
Lead tier 1 supplier and third-party contract negotiations and execution.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent program management experience
Skilled at managing multiple-disciplinary programs that involve regional and global companies.
Excellent negotiation skills that determine the win/win in all scenarios.
Knowledge and Skills
Global coordination schedules with 4MOC/HGRX and suppliers, resource allocation and timing, verification of plan feasibility and coordination with all affected groups.
Realtime tracking of complex, international and multi-company deliverables. Assessment of completion quality and construction of recovery plans.
Continual review of critical path activities, risk assessment to plans, forecasts when to report upward potential schedule delays, conduct escalation to proper business units with comprehensive background material and data. Develop and implement recovery plans.
Feasibility of technical plan proposals/implementation for outsource companies. Control of outsource company billing and review of deliverables. Negotiation with managing bodies and escalation to achieve goals.
