Job Description:

Position Overview:

  • This position is responsible for maintaining, supporting and assisting in the clients administration of AD Network Account Access. 
  • The AD Account Management support can be defined as, but is not limited to the following: 
  • AD Account creation, maintenance and terminations
  • Creating and maintaining distribution lists and server access (Personal and Shared Drives)

Duties:

  • Responsible for the timely, accurate and courteous delivery of Network Account Access services to Agency, Secretariat and Non-Secretariat staff
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of user accounts and access rights to all Network Servers as well as remote access
  • Assist in the training of personnel in Network Account Management procedures
  • Responsible for communicating all pertinent issues to Agency, Secretariat or Non-Secretariat staff through channels set forth by Unit Manager
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting to Unit Manager any potential or actual breach in Security in a timely fashion
  • Responsible for providing and updating all relevant statistical and narrative reports as well as the professional preparation of reports for audit requests
  • Act as liaison for AD Account Management related issues between remote sites, Central office and IT Operations services
  • Trouble shootings and escalating (when necessary), all AD Account Management related issues/problems via the appropriate channels to ensure a speedy response
  • Maintain professional and cooperative conduct at all times including assuming a personal responsibility to maintain technical proficiency is maintained

Skills required to be successful in this role:

  • Extensive experiencesupporting MS Office Suite
  • Experienceworking with Active directory
  • Well versed in IT industry standards
  • Experience with LAN (physical and logical)
  • Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of basic security measures and requirements
  • Confident to lead a group and work as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and issues
