The Acquisition Analyst will:

  • Review requirements to determine how they will be processed (modify existing contract/delivery order or new effort) and make recommendations to the COR or Government-appointed POC
  • Prepare notices (synopsis, sources sought, request for information, etc.)
  • Coordinate Request for Proposal (RFP) / Statement of Objective (SOO) / Request for Information (RFI) packages
  • Coordinate with contracting activities on acquisition issues
  • Prepare proposal evaluation packages
  • Assist the Government with post award briefings
  • Maintain copies of all award documents in accordance with I&O configuration management guidelines
  • Facilitate and provide administrative support for the source selection evaluationboard,
    • Prepare solicitation panel nomination memo’s
    • Prepare solicitation panel evaluation books
    • Prepare instructions/ training to the Source Selection Evaluation Board (SSEB) panel members on participating and evaluating
  • Track and monitor each acquisition package until the action is complete
  • Provide expertise and support in allcontracting phases (pre-award, award, and post-award phases) to ensure effective performance of tasks including:
    • Prepare contract modifications as needed
    • Prepare exercising of contractual awards for option year/optional CLIN awards
  • Monitor contract PoP completion and/or IT schedules and notify the Government of pending expirations 180 days out Contracts Period of Performance
  • Receive, log, process and track all deliverables submitted to the I&O deliverables folder from date received through date approved/rejected by the COR
  • Participate in meetings and coordinate with the government and contractor support staff as needed.
  • Support all post-awardcontractadministration activities, including, but not limited to:
    • Transition activities
    • Modification to contract/task orders and delivery orders
    • Participation in program management reviews, surveillance activities, and performance monitoring, with the use of a corrective action system
    • Monitoring the funding status of all contracts, purchase/task orders, and Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs)
    • Preparation of contract closeout documentation

Education and Skills Requirement:

  • Must have a Bachelors w/5 yrs relevant experience (1 yr w/Masters, 7 yrs w/Associates).
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
