Enterprise Holdings, Inc. has a Senior Data Scientist opportunity in its ACE Department. The Senior Data Scientist is focused on understanding internal and external customers' strategic business objectives, relating those objectives to measurable indicators, and delivering analytic insights and strategies that promote continuous performance improvements for the company.

The ACE contributes to the growth of company through the achievement of defined objectives focused around new analytic products and services. As part of ACE, the Advanced Analytics team is specialized creating efficiencies and improving decision making process for the internal business units by developing and implementing advanced statistical and mathematical solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end analytical solutions that address the business needs
  • Extract, clean, and manipulate both structured and unstructured datasets
  • Perform exploratory data analysis, generate hypotheses, and extract actionable insights
  • Develop statistical and/or mathematical models that are put in production
  • Deliver detailed documentation including descriptions of efforts, results, insights and recommendations
  • Present the findings and recommendations to other ACE members and various levels of management
  • Partner with the other ACE teams to ensure the delivery of the solutions to life
  • Provide guidance to other Data Scientists in technical matters


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field required
  • Four (4) years experience data mining and developing statistical, mathematical models using SAS, R, CPLEX, or similar required
  • Four (4) years experience working with SQL or Python programming or directly querying relational databases such as Teredata, SQL Server or Oracle required 
  • Two (2) years of previous experience preparing and giving presentations to non-technical audiences including management required 
  • Previous experience conducting strategic analytics within a corporate setting
  • Experience with building statistical and/or mathematical models that are put in production
  • Experience with conceptualizing new analytical products or enhancing existing products by using advanced analytical techniques
  • Experience developing and managing relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
