Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable (AP) and Travel and Entertainment (T&E) functions at the Shared Services Center. This position will provide overall guidance and management to internal staff as well as to our offshore operations team.


  • Provide direct management to staff ensuring all deadlines are met and customer issues, concerns and questions are resolved accurately and timely
  • Effectively manage remote team in India providing clear direction and feedback to ensure Service Level Agreements are met
  • Develop and maintain an effective internal control environment over areas of responsibility; ensure controls are being executed on by staff
  • Provide guidance to staff on the resolution of complex problems and system issues
  • Recommend, develop and implement new processes to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department
  • Ensure the department maintains a high level of customer service
  • Review and enforce corporate policies and procedures
  • Monitor employee performance, provide constructive feedback to staff and coache and develop employees
  • Manage special projects as assigned, operating effectively under changing circumstances/environment


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Management preferred
  • 5+ years accounts payable experience with at least 2-3 years’ experience in a management role or team lead/project leadership role required
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in a Financial ERP system, preferably PeopleSoft
  • Possess advanced problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
  • Must possess strong attention to detail, be effective at managing multiple tasks and prioritize work according to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels
  • Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess superior customer service skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in an environment undergoing change
