The role of ­­­­­­­­­­­­­Accounts Payable Supervisor will help lead a team of AP clerks by monitoring day-to-day activities and KPI metrics, will help strengthen the team by holding weekly training/coaching sessions on key AP topics, and will be instrumental in recruiting A players to the AP team as the business scales. Additionally, the AP Supervisor will be the 1st point of contact for root-causing and resolving vendor or grower escalations.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently provide KPI reports showing daily individual contributor throughput and help to improve company KPIs to meet goals
  • Effectively help train, coach and build the AP team doing the following:
  • Collaboratively recruit A players
  • Coach team members on PO-invoice and non-PO invoice processing
  • Conduct weekly check in meetings with the AP team to discuss performance and progress
  • On a weekly basis conduct dedicated training session on a variety of topics within Accounts Payable
  • Help create and/or update AP process guides for use in coaching sessions and on-boarding
  • Work cross functionally to ensure PO compliance is being met internally and externally:
  • Communicate PO process to vendors and internal department
  • Learn and understand non-PO invoice processing to ensure the correct department and cost centers are charged
  • Provide support for vendor escalations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree Preferred
  • Full cycle Accounts Payable experience required
  • 5-7 years of Accounts Payable experience with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an AP leading or managing a team
  • Oracle experience is a plus
  • 1099 experience preferred
