Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily activities of the Accounts Payable department (staff of 7)
  • Hire, develop and mentor highly motivated professionals
  • Lead team-oriented projects to identify opportunities for efficiency/process improvements
  • Actively involved in various month-end financial close processes, including journal entry and general ledger account reconciliation reviews
  • Prepare and review various metrics and financialschedules for monthly management reports
  • Research and reconcile goods receipt and invoice receipt clearing account balances
  • Monitor and manage supplier EDI performance efficiency and convert suppliers to EDI as necessary
  • Review vendor statement reconciliations
  • Work directly with PACCAR suppliers to maintain positive relationships
  • Perform Accounts Payable related research and issue resolution
  • Participate in year-end closing activities as assigned (i.e. 1099, 10K and taxschedules)
  • Special projects as assigned

Education

  • BS/BA Accountingdegreerequired
  • 4-6 years progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience
  • SAP experiencepreferred
  • CPA eligible/working towards CPA certification
