Position Summary :

The Branch Liaison Department's mission is to act as the primary link between the branch offices and the various Trade Accounting departments by addressing and ensuring timely resolution of all questions/issues raised. The Branch Accounting Service Senior Specialist delivers a full spectrum of accounting-related solutions, best practices support and training to employees, managers and Divisional leadership alike.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

This role's incumbent will serve as a liaison between the branches and Trade Accounting/Billing to answer questions and drive resolution of complex problems which consists of:

  • Researching and documenting customer inquiries,
  • Developing positive customer relations,
  • Creating project plans to achieve resolution,
  • Identifying/developing solutions for potential procedure/process gaps,
  • Preparing branch training programs.

This role will also be involved in complex Trade Accounting/Billing Service problems as well as training Trade Accounting teams & Branch Accounting Service novices.



  • High School Diploma/equivalent
  • 7+ years of Insurance Accounting experience-preferably in a brokerage environment-that includes Receivables, Payables, and Billing experience.


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Prior experience within dynamic environment desired
  • EPIC, DMS, RoCK, SLM, ICE, GREAT knowledge a plus

Work Traits:

  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills, including persuasion and ability to leverage change, an emphasis on Customer Service(exposure to call centers/help desks a plus), proven ability to drive root cause/corrective action activities, along with an enthusiastic attitude and robust desire to succeed.
  • Solid project management and critical thinking are essential.
